Nothing wrong with a good old one-screen area shooter. I like the floaty movement and how the gun moves you back a bit, add some challenge to not getting hit.

[Forest Shack]

I was blown away with the quality and effort put in for this game. The 2 years you all spent working on this have paid off in droves! Although, I do have some gripes with the Gameplay.

It feels a bit overwhelming and unresponsive at times. When I hit Q to do the charge attack, my character doesn't do anything for a bit. So then I double click I few times to attack, when what feels like suddenly, The Q button works and I can charge my shot. But then, every time "Q" worked, I'd get a Quick Time Event to press S, It's all a lot at once to keep track of. I think it has to do with the meters on the bottom left HUD, but I'm not sure. I know the game's setting is supposed to be an unforgiving experience, but for me personally the many different pop up going up at once detours me from wanting to continue.

Still, keep up the impressive work!

I see what you mean, it could be a little overwhelming for a player that's just learning the ropes. So I have changed the initial enemies, now they won't make an S prompt while you are aiming during the starting area.

But after that? The forest has no more mercy to give.

This is a good and fun concept for a game, I feel like it just needs to be tweaked a little more with some quality-of-life features. Like I'm not sure what the roads do exactly like, I know you speed up but once while I was on one I couldn't go left and ran out of time. Maybe like a quick screen after clicking classic or party mode just going over what to do and junk would help a little more in communicating to the player how to play. Otherwise, I really like the game's style and Pizza Boy's voice lines when he hits a house
