I love the vibe, I’m a sucker for cyberpunk synth-wave. My favorite part is 2:02 to 4:04; I wish there was more of that kinda synth in the first part since it stands out so well. I’ll admit that the composition not really changing too drastically started to weigh on me after 4:04, I don’t think this had to be 6 minutes other than just vibes.

Overall score given: 8.0/10

thanks, will come back and be stronger for next year!
I know I can do it and become the best

A unique sound you got here; Also love a good amen break in my songs (1:29). The composition was well put together and diverse, mixing was well done, The flow of the song was good but 0:45 took me by surprise a bit with how sudden the shift was. Overall, good stuff!

I scored it a 7.6 overall

Thank you for this wonderful feedback!! I appreciate your valiant explanation! :))

Simple, beautiful, and with some much appreciated piano flourishes. I like this a lot, this is quite a good example of neoclassical music and makes for a nice loop! Superb work Solacitude!

Solacitude responds:

I couldn't ask for more appreciation than "makes for a nice loop" 😀
It was not an easy task given the time signature, but it was well worth it in the end!
Thank you very much for the kind words!

While not my personal favorite genre of music, I did find myself bobbing side to side for this track. I think your choice of MIDI instruments really helped sell the vibe of a '90s retro futuristic rave', reminds me of something that would play for something nostalgic like a spaceship rollercoaster ride. 1:11 is where I can feel the track really pick up, I like that melody a lot. Not bad at all, I think you did a awesome job making this track feel unique!

CosmoSynth responds:

I'm glad you found some joy out of the song!

I adore the somber sounds of the intro up to 1:11, that melody really reeled me in! I did read the tags so I knew that wasn’t going to last but I like the rest of the track as well. Composition is very well made, mixing is well made too. The drop for the main part of the song at 1:11 was executed quite well. Great stuff!

Thank you so much! During the two weeks, I've tried to learn how to catch my inspirations about songs, and I'm very happy that you liked some part of the stuff!

I like the vibe this gives off, it has a dungeon explorer type vibe that I like. I do like the story and challenge you’ve made for creating piece, it’s definitely an interesting way of approaching song creation. My only critique would be that the instrument used for the melody at 0:13 sounds extremely out of place. The melody gives off a more goofy vibe that clashes against this admittedly tense track and it's not the best mix. Besides that, I love this track!

This track is interesting, I think it does a lot of fun experimental things like the screaming and the distorted voices at 1:36. I like the aggression of the track, it helps it stand out from the other dance tracks. I think there’s more to be done with a track like this and more things you can experiment with but for as is, this is solid! I say make more tracks like this.

I’m digging this experimental hyperpop style beat, it’s really fun and bouncy and I vibe with it heavily! Mixing is solid, love the weirdness and uniqueness of the composition, the song flows well, great job!

A mashup of different styles done in an interruptive way which perfectly sums up what it's like to live with ADHD, I should know. The random switches to other songs is so abrupt but it’s kinda the point of this piece and what it’s going for, I do like how you made it as smooth as one possibly could. There wasn’t a switch-up that I hated, the flow of the song is non-existent but the whole thing shows talent.

This is quite the abstract track, it’s such an interesting style and it itches my brain listening to it. Artistically I think you’ve managed to make something that conveys complex emotions that’s hard to generalize to one core theme. I’d say on a surface-level the composition can come off as ‘annoying’, specifically 2:43 with its high pitched lead and robotic-sounding melody, and I say that’s it’s only true flaw.

Truly inspiring work!
